BARN INFORMATION
OWNER
The owner is Dan Burch. Dan is forty years old and was a world cup grand prix champion. He runs this all service barn. There are nine barns, nine arenas, ten trails, and one racetrack. All for western and English disciplines.
LOCATION[/b]
Santa Monica, California
FACILTY

Barns
Each barn has a name. Here we have huge modern barns, four on each side facing each other with a cobble stone walk way straight in between them. In the middle, there is a 'common area' with stone seats and a water feature. All of the barns have there own tack room on the outside of the barn as an extension. All of the tack rooms look the same. They are wooden with one wall of saddles, the other bridles.
--Main Barn
The first barn is closest to the drive way on the left side. It is The Main barn. It has boarders and a couple of Dan's greener sale horses that he gives some of the more experienced riders a chance to ride. There are twenty stalls on the outside. We close the stalls at night, then in the morning we open the stall doors and put the stall guard up. If the horse is bigger than seventeen hands high we can put another. There are swoop neck stalls on back the back wall. We have recently added stalls on the inside. There are five stalls on each side, facing the (now) main isle.
--Paddock Barn
This is the first barn on the right side. There are twenty stalls in this barn, ten on each side. This barn is only for boarders. If you want a stall in this barn it is more expensive. These stalls have paddocks and are in great condition.
--The L Facing Barn
This barn is the second on the left side. You have the choice of going around in the 'barn doors' and finding your horse on the inside, or outside.
--The Star Barn
This barn is the second on the left. This is the foaling barn. If there is a pregnant mare in the stable Dan moves her to the foaling barn when she is three months and the mare stays there with the foal until the foal is six months, then we move them into another barn. This barn is named after Dan's old mare, who was the first to foal in this barn after is was redone.
--Eagle Creek
Eagle Creek is the third barn on left. This is the nicest barn In the here. There are forty stalls, ten on the back, ten on the sides, and five on the front next to the doors. These stalls are set up exactly lile the ones in the Main Barn. There are no middle stalls. In the middle there is beautiful, sculpture of an eagle flying off the rocks.

--Quarantine Hut
Quarantine Hut is the third on the right. There are twenty stalls, ten on each side. Dan has a soft heart when it comes to sick horses, and goes to killer pens a lot and buys. There are currently seven horses in this barn. [

--Mickey Mouse
This is the last barn on left. This stable is for the horses that Dan is currently training. These stalls don't come cheep. You choose between shavings and straw, paddock or no.
--Pony Barn
The Pony Barn is the second to last on right side. This barn is for all of the school horses. Pony are on the end, then they get bigger in incresing height.
--Racing Barn
The Racing Barn is the last on the right. This barn is amazing, although it was only bit a few years ago. The floor may look like carpet, but its concrete.
Arenas
There are nice arena, four indoor, five outdoor. There is one cutting ring, one western ring, one english, and then a dressage arena with a wall of mirrors. Same for the outdoor, only there is one more for english and western riding, and one olympic sized outside (first).

Trails
There are ten trails here at Klear Creek Stable. One leads to the beach, one to the racetrace, and another to the cross coutry course.
--Dirt Path
--This trail has a fork in it and one fork has another fork. If you take the right fork and then the left fork it leads to a Private lake that only riders that have been here for at least a year know about.
--Canon Trail (Advanced Riders Only)
--This trail is all concrete.
--Foliage
--Younger riders can ride on this trail.
--This trail is a bit overgrown, but is still fun.
The Racetrack
The track is hidden in one of the trails. It is all dirt with white rails.
We hope you enjoy your stay at Klear Creek Stable. Come again!
